With just over two months left until our zombie run in San Jose, there’s not much time left to get in your training! Even if it’s just a few days a week, it’s a good idea to go for a short run, just to build up endurance for the 5K mud run in January. We want everyone to finish the race and receive a medal, and by pushing yourself just a bit, you can get over those obstacles and through the mud to the finish line.
Special Z Games created this zombie mud fun run to benefit adults and children with special needs, and we want to see as many people as possible on the course on Saturday, January 23rd. We’ve worked to create the perfect post-apocalyptic atmosphere for the race, and know that with everyone’s full involvement, we can create positive changes for those that face obstacles on a daily basis. If you’re interested in volunteering for the event, we would love to speak with you. We need people to help with the registration tables, as well as along the course during the run.
By training hard and preparing yourself both physically and mentally, you’ll be able to conquer the course and the obstacles on race day. As you train for our zombie run, remember that you’re working hard to help those that truly need it, and your participation will benefit many children and adults in the San Jose area. We look forward to seeing you on race day!
